Ultimate Goat Cheese Burgers

Ultimate Goat Cheese Burgers

1 lb lean ground beef
1 egg 1
2 tbsp water 30 mL
1/4 cup dry breadcrumbs
1 small onion, grated 1
2 tsp Dijon mustard 10 mL
1/2 tsp salt 3 mL
1/2 tsp Worcestershire sauce 3 mL
1/4 tsp pepper
8 oz Woolwich Dairy Original Chevrai, sliced into medallions
1 red onion, sliced 1
4 dill pickles, sliced 4
1 tomato, sliced 1
1 head lettuce, divided 1
4 hamburger buns 4

In a bowl, combine beef with egg, water, bread crumbs, onion, mustard, salt, Worcestershire and pepper.

Shape into 4, 1/2-inch (1 cm) thick patties.

Place patties on greased grill over medium-high heat; close lid and cook, turning patties once, for about 6 minutes per side or until no longer pink inside.

Place in hamburger buns and garnish with goat cheese, onion, pickles, tomato and lettuce.
